Matt, 46, joined Noel Fielding, 47, to kickstart this year’s edition of The Great British Bake Off and the pair welcomed another 10 amateur bakers to the tent. The first task the culinary geniuses were asked to complete was to make their interpretation of a classic Battenberg cake. However, when it came to tasting contestant Sura’s creation, the Channel 4 presenter snapped at her when he ate something he wasn’t supposed to.The contestant used spices to make her creation just a bit more unique than the others and as a result, had included cloves.Whereas judges Paul Hollywood, 54, and Prue Leith, 80, ate around the rather spiky ingredient, Matt decided to eat the lot.Having heard the comments on her Battenberg, Sura then realised the mistake the host had made and called him out on it.Hitt
